Mat Simmons started with nothing. A single-family deal in 2006 after a business exit, relentless work ethic, and a contrarian mindset that refused to follow the crowd.

Today he leads SIMMONS, his holding company with multiple 7-8 figure businesses and a 9-figure real estate portfolio. He also heads up SCG Global, the private equity firm he founded that not only helps business owners scale through their SCG Edge advisory division — but also invests in and acquires firms to add to their portfolio.

His two kids are his why. Outside of business, he focuses on helping others, giving back, and supporting animal charities.
